That's a pretty weird beetle from Peru:
Peru, Junin dept., Satipo reg., Rio Venado env., nov. 2023
Female, 31 mm.
For me it's most similar to Iuati spinithorax Martins & Galileo 2010
I haven`t any Sphallotrichus in my collection but Sphallotrichus has elytral apex truncate with projecting spinose angles. As far as I can see from the available images.
The beetle corresponded well to description of Iuati but has differences. I'm not sure if they can be attributed to variability
