Posted - 18/09/2026 : 12:52:03 It is unclear. Xylotrechus yanoi Gressitt, 1934is a species from Japan, but has been reported from Mongolia (?). Xylotrechus pekingensis Pic, 1939 was described from northern China (Hebei, Shanxi). Neither of these two species – which have clearly been confused by several authors – is expected to occur in Vietnam. But Here a specimen from China (Guangxi) ! So, check LIN Meiying, GE Siqin & XIAO Nengwen, 2021. A study of the genus Xylotrechus Chevrolat (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Beijing, China.

Your photographs, Pierre, offer a glimpse of X.yanoi. |
