I think this small problem has been solved and it was a misunderstanding.

That said, I would like to point out that perhaps part of the misunderstanding was that my name is NOT ‘Sergi’ (referring to Sergi Trocoli, from Barcelona) but ‘Sergio’ (Sergio Devesa, from Pontevedra). Please take note to avoid confusion.

Yes, my fault
Sergi provided me with the data via Researchgate, but, I do not know how, I forgot to add them and that I had received them.

too late, this date should have been written in the description

Fantastic, Francesco! It has been a pleasure for me to contribute with my specimen to the description of this new species. Thanks.
As a complement for those who might be interested, the date of collection is IX.1993.

Saludos
Sergio

Epicasta malayana n. sp.
This specimen is a paratype.

The article can be read here.
The tribe Epicastini is considered as a junior synonym of the tribe Lamiini.
Francesco Posted - 12/09/2024 : 20:32:28
It belongs to Epicasta... but to Lamiini as well.
I am writing a complex paper. Could send me your data?
Francesco Posted - 19/07/2024 : 09:12:19
I have this species: possibly, it is new.
I am studying it.
