I have similar from Yen Bai.

Could this be a variation of M. atricornis?
The elytral pubescence is mostly dark and the
terminal antennal segments are thickly covered with golden pubescence.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Larry B.

Good question! This week I’m going to compare the genitalia of a predominantly yellow specimen from Laos with those of a predominantly black specimen from Vietnam. Perhaps that will give us an answer?
