I agree, it looks some unusual. It is very possible that this is a different species. My exemplar of G. porphyrio is very roughly dotted, corresponds to the type. It tomented too but weaker and with a intence green sheen. |

thanks Max, really similar, but my spm has a dense black pubescence and a different pronotum acc the type picture at Larry's website |

I would say G. porphyrio unless the elytral punctures looks smaller and densely on the photo |
