I can translate the description next weekend first, but I would exclude S. yunnanus for nalslan's Picture !!

The one on the left surely looks more like gahani? hmmm.

Description of is available here. Who can translate the text ?
I haven't seen the holotype of Sthenias yunnanus Breuning, 1938, but the page here presents 2 different species.

Superbe ! Incroyable la ressemblance avec le genre Batrachorina en tous cas sur la photo !.

Update, this is Sthenias yunnanus for me?
Francesco Posted - 01/11/2013 : 22:22:21
Actually, this species was just described as Anaches gahani Pic, 1912...
I did not know this revalidation: Titan base does not mention it.
Which species have been restored?
Xaurus Posted - 01/11/2013 : 21:44:58
Such sps belongs to the genus Anaches Pascoe, 1865 essentially reinstated by C. Holzschuh recently.
I hope we can make a revisional study of this genus next year together.
So, we are interested to see all material.

Yes, it is. According to me, it is Sthenias gahani (Pic, 1912), just described from Yunnan, like these specimens from Laos.
