It is strigosus in my view too, if follow your logic.

Ok! O. pseudostrigosus should not have:
- two yellow bands on the vertex;
- a narrow oblique yellow band on the metasternum;
- a longitudinal band and two spots at each side of each ventrite;
- the marginal apical angle of the elytra with a very small spine.
This seems to be just O. strigosus...

Actually, the most similar species seems to be just Olenecamptus strigosus... it might also be O. pseudostrigosus (one male in the gallery).
Max, could you send a picture of the ventral (or lateral) side in order to see the ventral part? |

Il faut reprendre la clé de Breuning et mettre la bête sous la loupe, mais je n'ai pas le temps ce soir. O. indianus est quand même probable pour la dimension. |

...mais dans Chinese Longhorn beetles, l'espèce la plus proche serait Olenecamptus dominus Thomson, 1860 (pour mon espèce aussi !) |

I have a species with quite similar markings, identified as Olenecamptus strigosus Pascoe, 1866.
However, it is from West Papua... |
