Je pense que cette espèce est plus ou moins confondue avec Bacchisa medioviolacea Breuning, 1965 qui serait selon Holzschuh un synonyme de Lasiophrys latifrons Gahan, 1901. Par ailleurs, avec des élytres bicolores, ce n'est pas non plus Bacchisa guerryi (Pic, 1911) qui serait un Plaxomicrus toujours selon Holzschuh. |

| Avec le métasternum noir-violet, il s'agit très probablement de Tetraophthalmus dimidiatus (Gory, 1844). |
