Illustration from SHELFORD Robert Walter Campbell, 1902.Observations on some Mimetic Insects and Spiders from Borneo and Singapore. By R. Shelford, M.A., C.M.Z.S., Curator of the Sarawak Museum. With Appendices containing Descriptions of new Species. Proceedings of the General Meetings of Science Business of Zoological Society of London 2 [1902]: 230-284-278, pls XIX-XXIII. Available here.

I have similar Menesia species from Sabah. The patterns of gray and white on the elytra are a little different on each one. I would appreciate any photographs of holotypes of this group. |
