This specimen has very black prothorax, devoid of any golden pubescence.
Is it still an Aeolesthes induta?

I think that the black colour might derive from fat or hemolymph; you should eliminate it by plunging your beetle in petrol.
However, I can confirm Aeolesthes induta (female).
