5 mm. Hua Phan, nord-est Laos.
Un Gyaritini, conforme à l'illustration 24g de Gressitt (1970) : Gyaritodes laosensis Breuning, 1963.
La photographie est mauvaise, mais j’atteins les limites de mon matériel.

 . Même si mon spécimen ressemble beaucoup à la photographie de la faune du Laos, il ne doit pas appartenir au genre Gyaritodes qui possède 2 épines sur le pronotum selon la clé du livre !  |

| Mon espèce pourrait appartenir au genre Egesina. Beaucoup d'espèces décrites. |

Malheureusement Gyartodes n'a pas d'épines sur le pronotum.
C'est une faute de la clé de Breuning. Dans la description des espèces (et les photos du type le confirment) on n'a pas mention d'épines. |

Du coup, puisque ce genre est sans épine, ce serait plutôt un Gyaritodes ??
As-tu compris comment séparer Gyaritodes et Egesina ?
