Il ne s'agit pas de longipennis, dont j'ai mis une photo dans la gallérie, parce qu'il a l'épine marginale des élytres plus longue et l'écusson jaune.
Il pourrait être A. pseudomarmorata ou A. pseudotincturata, qui se distinguent par leur pubescence (ici frottée) et pour les yeux. Peut on avoir une vision latérale de la tête? |

| Après tout, je pense qu'il soit un autre exemplaire, très frotté, de Acalolepta australis (Boisduval, 1835)... c'est le seul qui a l'apex des élytres tronqué comme ça. |

Voici un autre A. australis que j'ai en collection depuis quelques années, peux-tu confirmer ?
Il a les premiers articles des antennes avec des taches noires. |

The name of this species is officially Acalolepta longicornis (Thomson,1865).
The specimens from Papua belong to the nominotypical form
The revision of this group The Acalolepta australis species-group, with revalidation of Dihammus Thomson, 1864 as a subgenus (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae). Les Cahiers Magellanes 31 can be requested here. |
