Hi, everyone! Gressitt & Rondon (1970) made a key to the genera of Disteniini, but I found it is difficult to distinguish the genera Melegena and Noemia basing on their key. Some species of both genera are very similar, do you know how to distinguish the both genera? Thanks!

I have several species of Noemia from Borneo, and a species of Melegena from there which is not M. pubipennis and not the species recently described by Holzschuh from there.

Anyway... All my species of Noemia have elytra which are distinctly parallel sided. Melegena has elytra which are somewhat tapered and more normal. Melegena are a little larger, sometimes much larger.
