Avec la révision de Breuning (1956), j'arrive ŕ Bacchisa perakensis Breuning, 1956. La description colle, mais je ne sais pas si cette espčce existe ŕ Bornéo.

Breuning's work is incomprensible.

This might be B. violacea Breuning, 1950. Or something else entirely.

It's a little species right? I believe it is possible that you may find the sane species with a head of either reddish-brown or black.

Dr. Saito shared photos with me of Bornean Astathini from her collection and many she can not identify.

This is another group of Lamiinae that requires work.

B. violacea should show a black occiput; here it is evidently red.
Legs also are entirely black.

Until now, B. perakensis is the most reliable ID...
