Any ideas on this Callichromatini sp? It has a distinct purple sheen.

Data: Male - 12-2016 - Ebogo Centre - Cameroon.

Can't see if the pronotum is smooth or striate, but the general habitus makes me think of some colour form of Cloniophorus mucheia Thomson, 1858 (male).

Sorry Pierre, but in my opinion, it is a Cloniophorus mucheia mucheia, as you have identified it firstly: the lateral spine is too small and pointed.

Moreover, Metallichroma excellens of Cameroon show a dorsal green band (see here).
