I think this is S. spinicollis, just like from Borneo. I have material from West Malaysia too, just like this one. The only difference is that Bornean specimens do not have as much dark area on the hind femora... but they do have some, and sometimes they have a lot of dark area like West Malaysian specimens.
Separating and identifying species, like Schmidtiana, can be dangerous. |

Bentanachs might be doing some additional work on this genus... There does need to be more study. |
