514.07 KB 8 mm, female. Phrae Province, Thailande. Sophronica atripennis (Pic, 1926). Very similar to Sophronica diversipes (Pic, 1929) (here), from which it differs in having legs that are more extensively black; the scutellum is entirely black; and antennae that are coarsely punctate, with longer hairs on the outer surface. Furthermore, the pronotum is slightly angular on the sides, a short distance beyond the base. A photograph of the holotype can be viewed here.
