Je ne dirais pas: Macrochenus ne devrais avoir le prothorax épineux... Il semble plutôt un Epepeotes. |

It might be Epepeotes uncinatus Gahan, 1888, widely distributed from Ceylon, to China, Vietnam and Laos. Are you sure "Indonesia" and not "Indochina"? |

However, it is Epepeotes uncinatus: cf. here. This species is present only in India, Bhutan, Myanmar, est Chine, Vietnam and Laos. |

Type and Gyula specimens belongs to Epepeotes uncinatus v. Salvazai Pic, 1925 with rounder spots on elytra. Same morpha in Laos. |
