Hello, Mr. Vitali,
I apologize that I could not email to you any pictures of my my collected cerambycidae (identified and non- identified) as I was going last year.
Luckily now I can do this.
Hope to email you more pictures in a month when I am back from my field trip to Laos.
Please feel free to use the pictures on your website.
regards,
Konstantin Vaksov

Dear Mr.Vaksov, thank you for your kind mail and the news.
The posted cerambycid seems to me a male specimens of Celosterna scabrator (Fabricius, 1781). There are brown (typical form) or grey varieties (griseator Aurivillius), and specimens with reticulated grey-brown pubescence as well. Those where the brown pubescence is dominant (as in your specimen) belong to the var. spinator (F.), while those where the grey pubescence dominates belong to the var. renei Pascoe.
