J'ai édité ma photographie, et je découvre que mon specimen n'est pas du tout Acalolepta vitalisi (Pic, 1925), mais plus probablement Acalolepta sericeomicans (Fairmaire, 1889), ou encore autre chose !

Je pense que ça pourrait être A. sericeomicans, bien que la pilosité le long de la marge des élytres de mon specimen soit plus argentée que sur le type. L'holotype de A. sericeomicans est manifestement une femelle.

Ce n'est pas Acalolepta aurata (Gahan, 1888) qui a "les élytres grossièrement ponctués au quart basilaire".

La tête du type d'Acalolepta vitalisi est un faux.

Pourquoi penses-tu que la tete du type du MNHN soit fausse ? La tete, ou le pronotum et la tete ?
