13 mm, male; Laos, Houaphan province.
Similar to Acalolepta sericeipennis Breuning, 1965, but with a more elongated and punctate pronotum, and noticeably longer antennae. Any ideas? |

It is not A. sericeipennis Breun. that has an unmarked pronotum. However, this species fits the description of Acalolepta socia (Gahan, 1888) perfectly, as does the specimen photographed by Gérard at the MNHN, whose pronotum has a ‘slight longitudinal median ridge’:
