Posted - 20/01/2021 : 12:02:45 Hello Sergio, To be clear, I don't have a specimen (unfortunately!) of this species. I base my identification on the work and description done by Quentin & villiers, 1978 (Revision des Macrotomini de la region Malgache). Your specimen corresponds to the description of Leiophysis with this strong punctuation and pronotal vermiculation, the elytral configuration and the ratio of antennal segments. The size also fits with the Holotype of MNHN - Paris. Furthermore no other genus like Phlyctenosis fits in this description. |
