This group is badly in need of revision.
Because of the great variation within the species I feel no one has wanted to take it on. Legs vary from red to black, integument may be metalic or not, elytral marking may be present, reduced or absent, etc. Tails most likely need to be examined to see if they would help.
Presently, yours would be called Aprophata semperi (Westwood) 1863... but then eximia is close to it. I have lots of pictures of the variations if anyone is interested. |
