There was indeed a correction in 2017 concerning the female of A. george which was not the "right" one in the original description. In any case, Aegosoma and Aegolipton should not be confused and we are in the presence of an Aegolipton species (longer and smoother antennae than in Aegosoma).

thanks, your female spm looks really like the same,
I checked the paper about A. tavakiliani & female of A. George from Drumont & Do 2017, and I have seen my female fits quite well the (wrong) PT female of george (pict. 7), means an undescribed species ?

There are always "small" variations in the length of the antennae and the pattern of the elytra, but I think this one is definitely A. kumei (here is another female ex. from Da Nang for comparison)

thanks Claude, yes it belongs to Aegolipton, compared with the PT pictures (females) of kumei and tavakiliani (prioninae.eu) both are very similar but different, my spm has different antennae and maybe the pronotum too (or its a variable character ?), unfortunately I haven't the descriptions

I think it's a female of Aegolipton (maybe A. kumei or A. tavakiliani).
