For me Scapacartus ferreirai Breuning is clearly a synonym of Exocentrus (Ispaterus) nigroplagiatus but I have not seen the type of S ferreirai but from the description and the drawing there is no doubt for me as to E (Pseudocentrus) fuscoplagiatus indeed, I had not made the connection but it would seem that this name is a synonym of E (I) nigroplagiatus! Curiously Téocchi had noted in his file to see E. longipilis what somewhere does not seem to me either illogical?

Scapacartus ferreirai Breuning, 1971 which looks the same as Exocentrus (Pseudocentrus) fuscovitticollis Breuning, 1971 and most probably Exocentrus (Ispaterus) nigroplagiatus Breuning, 1956 ???
