Hua Phan, nord-est Laos.

Avec Bentanachs (2012), j'arrive à Polyzonus balachowskii Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 ...

I have another spec. determined as P. balachowskii from NE Laos, with distinctly different genital morphology.
Here a picture from the pronotum from my cf. balachowskii.

Xavier, la base du pronotum est évidemment rebordée: ou c'est balakowskii ou c'est nouveau...

The colour corresponds but the antennae seem to me too short: according to the monographs it should be a Parapolyzonus.

Ehrlich zu sagen, bin ich nicht zu überzeugt von dieser Untergattungen...

Ich habe auch ein Männchen dieser Art mit etwas längeren Fühlern als die Flügedecken. Diese Merkmale sind alle irgendwie "schwammig", zumal es bei großen und kleinen Ex. zum Teil erhebliche Variablen gibt.
Zu den Untergattungen kann ich dir nur Recht geben.

Stimmt. Guck mal die Abb. 16. u. 39. (kurze Fühler) in Verhältnis mit 63 u. 78 (lange Fühler)...

That is not P. balachowskii. Your Specimes is from a very variable new one, i will check that in the next time. I have this Specimen from Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, China and Thailand.
