I agree with genus Cnemoplites, the third antennal joint is short, pronotum subquadrangular, strong elytral punctuation, probably C.cephalotes (Pascoe,1864)...

Thank you for your opinion. I tend to the same thought. Unfortunately, all that I have is a photograph of the type on the site prioninae.eu. I think that there is a need for a revision of this genus, is not it?

Yes, I think so too, especially as several species type are unknown to me...
