These Macrotoma were collected during the day in vegetation, the male is 34 mm, the female is 39 mm.
From Port St Johns.

Pour moi c'est un Paramacrotoma, sans doute P. scabridorsis (White, 1853).

I agree that it can be P. scabridorsis (White, 1853). but one must be careful with SA material (badly known, 3 very characteristic species recently described) without a close examination.
Anyway, nice catching.
