No. This is not a female of oberthuri.
I have undertaken a revision of the (former) subgenus Epioplatocera but, for various reasons, could not include the chinese fauna.
This species is close to some new items from Vietnam but I am not able to say if they belong to a same species.

As long as I can not access to extensive chinese materials, I won't be able to make up my mind. I have seen pictures with numerous materials stored in museums in China, but it was impossible to get a closer look, or data or any further information about.
China is an immense territory and a study of this fauna will bring new sights on the question, that makes no doubt.
I have also in my personal collection some items from China which remain unidentified. I think things will remain this way quite a long time.
