Thanks Greg, this species is very different.

I have a couple T. latefasciatus to compare.

The areas behind the scutellum are quite different and this one
has a very thickened lateral carina, that extends to the apical declivity at 2/3 the elytral length.

Hopefully we'll hear from Francesco & Xavier.

Trachystohamus subelongatus Pic, 1936, no ? It has been decribed from Vietnam.

Xavier: I also have that taxon to compare, and this is quite different.

The hind third of the elytra is actually somewhat similar to Falsotrachystola (Morimopsini); with thick carina, significant downward angle.
