I’ve cobbled together a white room to make it easier to use my TG7: I don’t use a tripod attached to the camera.

I salvaged the white plastic housing from a desk magnifying lamp, from which I removed the ring-shaped neon tube.

1 & 2. I taped a sheet of sturdy cardboard to the inside of the housing to reduce the size of the opening, and attached a binocular magnifying glass LED ring to it, also using adhesive tape.

3. This setup allows the camera to be positioned horizontally; it is stable and at the correct height (see depth of field).I can adjust the brightness of the LED lighting, and I can also use the camera’s self-timer.

This white box is easy to carry and can be used anywhere. It could be improved and made using 3D printing, but I’m happy with it as it is.
