Any ideas on this Callichromatini sp? It has a distinct purple sheen.

Posted - 05/10/2018 : 10:05:57 Sorry Pierre, but in my opinion, it is a Cloniophorus mucheia mucheia, as you have identified it firstly: the lateral spine is too small and pointed.
Moreover, Metallichroma excellens of Cameroon show a dorsal green band (see here). |
