Until now, B. perakensis is the most reliable ID...

This might be B. violacea Breuning, 1950. Or something else entirely.
It's a little species right? I believe it is possible that you may find the sane species with a head of either reddish-brown or black.
Dr. Saito shared photos with me of Bornean Astathini from her collection and many she can not identify.
This is another group of Lamiinae that requires work. |
