5 mm, male. Houaphan, nord-est Laos.

5,5 mm, female(?).

Yes, this species is right, pictures are perfect, I have some from Vietnam (Tonkin), Falsatimura grisescens is quite different.

Do you mean that this is indeed Mimectatina truncatipennis (Pic, 1944)?

I changed the photos.
This species has a similar appearance to Falsatimura grisescens Pic, 1926, shown here. However, I do not believe this is the same species: Breuning does not mention the white spots on the elytra in his description, and the dimensions he provides (7 to 10 mm) are larger than those of my specimens; any feedback is welcome!

Thank you ,
The surface is ok; it's my picture : I can't make a good one with animals of 6 mm length and ground color ...

I agree this is not a Sybra sps, it belongs probably to Ropicosybra but the surface is not in good conditions.

Hallo Xavier
I thank it is near Ropicosybra spec., but ???
Xavier Posted - 02/02/2014 : 11:18:54

--> Sybra sp.
